Dr. Kristin Parker

Dr. Kristin Parker is a native of Colby, Kansas. She received her Associates Degree from Colby Community College, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biology from the University of Kansas in Lawrence. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, KS, graduating Magna Cum Laude and with Pi Tau Delta honors, as well as being listed in Who’s Who Among Students and College Universities in 2015. While at Cleveland, Dr. Kristin was part of the Family Wellness Club and attended a series of seminars for continued training in pediatrics and expecting mothers through the ICPA. She has also taken a series of seminars in acupuncture. She was a student intern in the Cleveland Health Center, treating patients of all ages, from newborn babies to patients in their 80’s.
Shortly after graduating from Cleveland Chiropractic College in December of 2015, Dr. Kristin went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic and Haiti under Dr. Peter Morgan, D.C., and Chiromissions/Mission Life International. She traveled with around 60 chiropractic students and doctors to these countries, adjusting people of all ages and all walks of life for 7 days. While in Haiti, the group visited many mountain villages and markets surrounding the town of Ouanaminthe in Northern Haiti. In the Dominican Republic they visited the surrounding villages of Puerta Plata. Many of these people have little or no access to healthcare and had never had or even heard of a chiropractic adjustment. Most of the doctors and students adjusted around 500-600 people over the trip, learning how to overcome the barrier of language with the loving touch of Chiropractic. Dr. Kristin hopes to travel back to these areas again in the near future.
Dr. Kristin and Travis Parker met and started dating while they were in high school at Colby. They married 9 years later on August 29, 2015, and now reside in Colby. They now have 2 children, Ruzik and Kellyn. The Parker's are excited to become an integral part of the community that helped shape them into the people they are today.
